Looks like Ubisoft has erred on the side of caution, creating an industry-standard sequel that’s simply Assassin’s Creed + new features.

After all, at the end of the first game, we left Mr. Desmond Miles (Altair) locked-up with the Animus, in Abstergo Industries’ building. And the room did have large windows that looked out over what seemed to be a modern metropolis…
